世界を織ることにした。
布を「織る」ことをやめた。
「織る」は、社会を観察していく視点。
作品に社会の「モノゴト」や「ヒト」の関わり方を織り込んでいく。
「織る」という行為を探る。
「縛る」や「挟む」「構築する」といった関わり方を表す言葉が浮かんでくる。
言葉で社会生活の価値観や生活様式を観ていく。
「織る」が、ルールや時間、金や人の関わり方と繋がっていく。
廃棄物を収集し,作品に取り入れている。
それは社会の価値観に対する問いかけ。
豊とは何か？周りには物質と情報が充満している。
モノだけでなく、コトやヒトも消費され、廃棄されていく。
価値という観点。
社会に荷担し反発することに生々しさや残酷さ、滑稽さを感じる。
交流は「織る」の新しいイメージを与えてくれる。
「織る」は広がる。社会は様々な姿を見せ続ける。
そんな世界を織ることにした。

Decided WEAVING world.
I stopped WEAVING cloth.
WEAVING is a viewpoint to observe our society .
My work is to weave the correlation between “the social system" and "people".
"Binding", "inserting" and "constructing":
terms defining the correlation can be found in the act of WEAVING.
By terms, I observe the sense of values and the social life style.
WEAVING is connected to the correlation money, people, rule and time.
I collect industrial wastes and use them for my work.
It is a question toward the social sense of values.
What is Rich? Objects and information saturating our life.
Not only objects but important matter and people are consumed, and discarded.
A point of view toward value.
By taking part in the society, and rebelling it, I feel reality, cruelty and absurdity.
The communication gives a new image of "WEAVING".
"WEAVING" in me grows. The society continues to show various forms.
I decided WEAVING such world.
(And I am aware that "decided to weave" is correct.)
